I guess that's it so far. I've listened to a lot of albums that are new to me besides those but those are the only ones from this year. There's the new Strokes one too but that was only alright.
Those are the only albums I have gotten this year, but both are amazing. I will definately be getting more music this year cause all the albums i'm waiting for have not come out yet so yeah.
Resurrecting this because so much of the year has gone by and so many great albums are out!!!

Kanye West/Jay Z - Watch the Throne Kendrick Lamar - Section.80
Ugh I HATED Watch the Throne. I just couldn't stand a ton of the lyrics and most of the beats were pretty boring. The first track was alright, the 2nd was awful, more of a Beyonce song and there were only a couple that were lyrically strong. New Day's good, so is Murder To Excellence and the hook for Why I Love You is massive, but other than that I couldn't really stand it
SWEET BABY JESUS!
Also, I loved My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, so I was really excited for more 'Ye and even more Jay, kind of a letdown
I really need to listen to Kendrick Lamar, sounds really awesome. seems to be one of the best new rappers of 2011
i honestly haven't thought about it until right this second the last thing that blew me away was the sigur ros live album i put it on and within 2 minutes i said to myself "oh, sigur ros, how i've missed you"
and then an hour later i came back down to earth. it's like seeing your old friend that you haven't seen in 5 years but you don't even say hello you just start the conversation from when you last left it off.
