• This one has some of my own footage I was able to get a little of before my girlfriend's camera ran out. It actually has me in it! The song is invisible walls. All the artwork I did myself as well, but im not really an artist/painter. Please enjoy Sincerely, Sean Magee aka A Color Tree

• thank youuuuuuuu!
• after a little over half a years work, i think i'm ready to show you guys this animal collective remix i used parts of songs from every single album (except for campfire songs, kinda hard to use stuff from) i don't think i used anything from the eps but honestly i went through a couple weeks of just sampling something from five different songs everyday its pretty strange i tried to create animal collective type atmospheres using only AC's sounds. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AJNNBOVN let me know what you guys think i can take harsh criticism wini fixed url may 4
• You guys like Animal Collective? In that case, a percentage of you will like what I'm doing: http://echotongues.com I figure there's no point in suggesting a genre since this is an AC forum Thanks and I hope it makes your ears feel good
• haha... your name being self promotion cracks me up!
• I actually like this a lot. It sort of fills this hole, musically speaking, that I've been waiting for. That might sound confusing, but I feel like I've been searching for something that sounds quite similar to this and haven't been able to find it until now. Almost like you read my mind. It's fresh. Some parts remind me a little bit of The Morning Benders. Any chance that they had some influence on you?
•
"]haha... your name being self promotion cracks me up!
yes
• Best Name Ever
• he does exactly what you'd expect! he's a straight shooter!
• Can't argue with that.
• i really like this
• many thanks for listening and saying such nice things... thread is working out!
• thread is working out! ^haha! i love this too! damn yr 2 for 2! can't wait for yr 3rd!
• Hey, I'm going to bump this because not only would it be NICE to recognize his efforts, but there has been talk of sampling and techniques lately.
• New song if you guys like to hear it. http://soundcloud.com/acolortree/shes-dancin
• who's band COULD this be? <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://soundcloud.com/technicolorteeth">http://soundcloud.com/technicolorteeth</a><!-- m -->
• you can't stop it!
•
who's band COULD this be? <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://soundcloud.com/technicolorteeth">http://soundcloud.com/technicolorteeth</a><!-- m -->
isn't anything fans are we? Seriously though.
• if one didn't know of the album isn't anything that sentence would be most confusing!
• I apologize for how fucked up this thread is. We're going to have to quote to reply to anything to understand what the hell we are talking about. This solution is what the owner suggested, but I'll try to find some other format...

• I lack such power. If owner does not wish it, it does not happen.
• i posted my music a while back and i really appreciate you guys that listened. here is the only live show i've ever done, cut up by my friend <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href=""> m --> we really cleared the place out, pretty fast. but we just got into our zone and flowed with the music... and some people that sat it through told me they liked and appreciated it. i remember some old AC quote that said just do what you feel and don't take criticism seriously. i think brian was talking about getting shut down because people were booing too much, because the early AC stuff was so abrasive and confusing to the audience. but yeah, recordings are here <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://morticianmagician.bandcamp.com">http://morticianmagician.bandcamp.com</a><!-- m --> i've got some stuff i'm proud of, like the Whispershells EP which is free to download and the choices single. i've really got to get some instruments so i can make some more melodious musical ramblings.
• A few months ago I finished my first EP called Drinks to Glitch to. It's a concept album which pulls inspiration from experiences I've had drinking over the years. It's instrumental and I'm really happy with it and have been hard at work on a full length and another concept EP, but I'd really like to get some feedback from folks that AREN'T my friends! Here is the myspace, feel free to add me if you enjoy. There is a new song not on the EP streaming here, and I'm gonna upload other tracks periodically. http://www.myspace.com/564996817 For those of you who don't enjoy myspace or who like my work enough to want to purchase a digital download (and help me continue my endeavors), check out the bandcamp here: http://fingerbangthe-music.bandcamp.com/ Thanks, and let me know what you think!!!
•
I'd really like to get some feedback from folks that AREN'T my friends!
well that's funny because WE! ARE! ... YOUR FRIENDS! and you'll never be alone again (so come on!) <!-- s>__< --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/mad.gif" alt=">__<" title="mad" /><!-- s>__< -->
• HAHAHA I knew when I typed that I was gonna get some kind of flak for it :-P
• hey poppits, my name's liam, you may have seen me promoting my previous project sonobe. now I'm here to show you my new alias, mochi. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://fuckmochi.tumblr.com">http://fuckmochi.tumblr.com</a><!-- m --> it's very rappy in rappy ways that are rappy. ty. xoxo.
• Hi, if anyone could offer feedback on this track I would really appreciate it. I am more of a listener than a musician, so in return I could probably offer you some good feedback on your own stuff, if you send me the link <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://soundcloud.com/coelacanths">http://soundcloud.com/coelacanths</a><!-- m --> <!-- e --><a href="mailto:indranfernando@gmail.com">indranfernando@gmail.com</a><!-- e --> Thanks <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smile-1.gif" alt=":)" title=":)" /><!-- s:) -->
• http://www.handsmantis.com
• as they do so often. These are pretty ragin' but what would you expect when a band is gearing up to release the tape of the decade? hear them or die <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://soundcloud.com/technicolorteeth">http://soundcloud.com/technicolorteeth</a><!-- m -->
• *dies* <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/sad.gif" alt=":(" title="sad" /><!-- s:( -->
• because station wagon doesn't sound exactly like any band specifically (cough, no age, cough)
• *is reborn on a techno colour dream boat!* <!-- s>__< --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/mad.gif" alt=">__<" title="mad" /><!-- s>__< -->

• I little track I made a while ago. Flylo influenced syncopation with animal collective upbeat nature and vocals. Give it a whirl! <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://soundcloud.com/airspaceark/green">http://soundcloud.com/airspaceark/green</a><!-- m --> <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smile-1.gif" alt=":)" title=":)" /><!-- s:) -->
• This isn't like a "go listen to my band they're the best" post, but here's 30 seconds or so of a really solid jam me, deadfly and another friend were working on. My friend Juwon on the Miniak, matt using reason (seemingly doing nothing in the clip, but actually a ton", and me doing samples. enjoy <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://yfrog.com/5i2diz">http://yfrog.com/5i2diz</a><!-- m -->
• pretty cool Tabelz, very similar to some stuff ive been working on. i really liked the keys aand your sampling love to hear a full length song..
• That sounds pretty neat.
• <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://soundcloud.com/tabelz/foreground-cover">http://soundcloud.com/tabelz/foreground-cover</a><!-- m --> Hey guys, thanks for the kind words on the last thing I did. Here's a rough cover of Foreground by Grizzly Bear, did it all myself. Not very good but would love some feedback!
• Finger Bang the (-) I enjoyed your EP. Quite an interesting style, the drums were especially cool. Check out my rough demo for Royal Pelt here. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://soundcloud.com/quasr/sets/royal-pelt-demo/">http://soundcloud.com/quasr/sets/royal-pelt-demo/</a><!-- m --> >>This demo is mainly synth/electro pop sprinkled with a bit of folk and glitch. I'd appreciate some feedback. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://soundcloud.com/quasr/">http://soundcloud.com/quasr/</a><!-- m --> And here is all my other stuff, works in progress, ideas, "b-sides" if you will haha
• Hey, I'm new to this site but definitely not new to AC. I've made some musics with ableton and my akai mpk25, which I've just started using and still learning. "Terence, The Tree" and "...And the Planets Explode" were made with audactiy (everything recorded with a usb mic) and a Terence Mckenna sample. Let me know what you think! http://soundcloud.com/i-39
• http://www.facebook.com/pages/CRUX/300208849991216?sk=app_178091127385 Its a work in progress,done all on a axiom25 using mixcraft
• ello... we're Neutered... 1-2-3-4! :(|)
• I get all weird about recording music, so I usually don't. There's some magical space that opens up when there's zero expectations. My best recordings have been when people have recorded me and I've not known about it. Fuckin' studio work... Yuck. Can't stand it. "No, that note isn't right. I've gotta go back and hit THAT NOTE correctly. No, man, roll it back again."
• yeah, sounds like you need someone to produce your stuff (or someone who you're willing to listen to, to say "no, good enough, move on to the next thing") for you
• Yeah, you're right.
• I have the same problem sometimes; my solution is sort of ..eh: I give myself a hard time limit for stuff. If I don't get the guitar part in an hour, save whatever's been done and move on to something else. This limits the amount of navel-gazing analysis paralysis that I allow myself. If I get stuck creatively I try different stuff -- different tunings, different instruments, a capo (same chords using different CAGED shapes, whatever)
• we could use a song right now!
• DIDDY MOW!
