Being a fan for like four years, I have obviously come across this website on various occasions, but I never knew about this part!!!
Um the love I have for this musical group is otherworldly. Like literally. they make me feel indescribable emotions and I cry every other time I listen to their songs (also because I am a total loser softie but whatever). They are so beautiful in every way and I am always amazed by how they are such good friends with the same bizarre ideas.
I think they were brought together by supernatural forces in order to make these sounds that grace our souls. Just kidding. But not really actually.
It is super creepy but I feel a strong spiritual bond with them and their music sends me afar into a completely separate plane of meditation.
I am probably freaking all of you out.
so maybe I should just be like, hi my name is Sofi; I am an artist and tamagotchi caretaker and I like aliens and fairy tales.
Also can I casually bring up that Danny Perez is my cousin? No? Ok.

And what! Really?? So many Miami people! When I lived there I was totally made fun of daily for being so "weird." I never in a million years would have guessed that such a majority of its natives love this music too!! But I live in the frozen Denver now omg I miss the ocean so much it pains me.

i have a few relatives that i guess make some art but none that are known...
the closest "famous" relative i have is named Lee de Forest:
Lee De Forest (August 26, 1873 – June 30, 1961) was an American inventor with over 180 patents to his credit. De Forest invented the Audion, a vacuum tube that takes relatively weak electrical signals and amplifies them. De Forest is one of the fathers of the "electronic age", as the Audion helped to usher in the widespread use of electronics. He is also credited with one of the principal inventions that brought sound to motion pictures.
He was involved in several patent lawsuits and he spent a substantial part of his income from his inventions on the legal bills. He had four marriages and 25 companies, he was defrauded by business partners (as well as defrauding business partners himself), and he was once indicted for mail fraud, but was later acquitted.
He typically signed his name "Lee de Forest."
one of my middle names (i have 2!) is de Forest (small d e space capital F!) and i often forget if there are one or two Rs in the Forest (to forget one's own name? oh god!)

We have MoonDog in Denver (in your area), the Miami bunch, Tabelz/Deadfly and some others in A-Town, a couple homegirls and boys in LA/Cali, Me and G.O in Minnesota, Penny in Denmark, Clayson in England, We had Phantom from New Zealand, We have two new members from the upper great lakes, We have a slew of canadian girls, Something, TerrorToast, We Tigers, so yeah we come from all over.

the 2 N64 ones (ocarina! one of best games of all time! majoras mask! super undergrated!)

And Dave, I was up in Jacksonville. Back today. My whole extended family lives there and we were just meeting up. Speaking of which, my cousin is on the tv device down in FL on Mayo Clinic commercials. That would be really weird if you've seen her before on there. -
