• What do you mean by the Ohne Titel thing? I know that it means Untitled in German, but I don't know if that answers your question...
• I just didn't know what it meant and to see it there labeling that piece of art was interesting too.
• I think I'm single for the first time in 8 years.
• D: What happened to Kevin?!
• It was time for us to separate, and it was a lot easier than i thought it would be. It's something that had been occupying my time (one reason i wasn't on much for a while there) and heart and mind. He is up in NY and is staying there, and seems happy and financially fulfilled: which is what i wanted for him. I am, however, left with his vehicle and all his stuff, which he may or may not come back for one day. I have a date Saturday night with a cool musician guy. He plays sax.
• Wini! I am very glad that it is going easier for you than you thought it would though it still makes me sad that your relationship came to an end. make sure you have a great date! Sax players are normally exponentially cool though sometimes arrogant (like most musicians)
• Glad you're taking it well!!
• Your positivity inspires me, Wini! I made a tumblr, if you guys are interested. http://adventuresincellolamiland.tumblr.com/
• I have one too! I'm stuckbehindabus....i'll follow you!
• That you, tiggles
• you got me! my thoughts; work was endlessly crazy today. so many bad things happened today but I felt anything but down. for some reason i had this incredible upbeat energy and was joking with everyone and having a great time. it makes me happy.
• My tumblr is operationsorbet .. but I don't post so often.
• Mine is dessertpocky.tumblr.com kind of lame, think I've posted it here before but I'll follow you guys.
• Out To Lunch on RTR.fm has been playing Panda Bear -Tomboy, but I've been at school so I miss it. I love the music RTR plays, sucks that I've been missing that airplay though.
• I followed you both!!!!
• My thoughts: Why would they release Starcraft 2 during the last week of summer? Did they intend to destroy my summer reading progess?
• Well, in Canada there's still a month left of summer, so...
• My thoughts: Why does Starcraft 2 destroy my social life?
• I'm now on tumblr, as well! I'm http://youarecute.tumblr.com/
• My thoughts: What is Starcraft 2?
• A vidjagame. Looks boring to me. Im thinkin I should clip my fingernails. They're pretty ridiculous.
• I'm thinking it's pretty cool that i conjured up a pool party just by asking the universe to invite me to one and it did woot woot pickles. edit: one additional thought-I looked at my moderation logs and I moderate from THREE IPs! Maybe 4, I forget. I feel so...full of eye pee.

• Well, these guys that I met on /mu/ want to maybe talk about me being a drummer in their band, which is this awesome Shoegaze early-Smashing-Pumpkins-influenced thing, and I'm totally into what they're trying to do and being in a band and everything, but they're 17 and 18 and I'm 15 and I just don't know. They want me to come out to Whyte Ave on Wednesday so we can meet in this vintage houseware store and sit on this big comfy couch and chat and whatnot, but I'm a little apprehensive about the whole thing. Plus, I know if I told my mom I'm going to meet a bunch of 18-year-olds downtown by myself the answer would be a definite no. So I just don't know what to do...
• edited August 2010
That sounds a little dangerous. If you go, please take someone with you! EDIT: When I read that I missed out on the "store" part and imagined you were just going to meet them in some old creepy abandoned warehouse. Sounds a little better now xD
• You've only met them a few times? Its understandable not to fully trust strangers, but they could just as well be great people who genuinely love your drumming talent. They're meeting you in public by the sounds of it right? Surely you've run these things through your thoughts already, but I reckon it sounds alright. Give them a chance, just stay in safe places I spose..
• I found, as a teenager, that if I couldn't tell my Mom I probably shouldn't be doing it. Try telling her and see what she thinks. Don't let on your own apprehension, she'll pick up on it. If she thinks it's not a good situation, trust her. She may be the over-protective type, so maybe she'll come with you, or send an older cousin with you. My opinion only. I think it sounds fun! And you will be safe, they should be just as apprehensive about hanging with a 15 year old as you are with them, if they have brains!
• Well, it turns out I have to go to the dentist tomorrow anyways so I wouldn't be able to go. And I found out that one's 16, one's 17 and one's 18, but it would be in a totally public place with a lot of people around and everything, so I'm doubting that they'd try and murder me or anything. My mom isn't really over-protective, just paranoid when it comes to strangers sometimes. I don't know. I'll have to think about the whole thing.
• My mum meets men for dates via online dating websites but she asks me "You don't talk to strangers online do you?!". I understand it's a mum thing though. I feel like I have good judgement though, I've never come across any creeps personally, I'd say pretty much everyone I've talked to in depth (all over facebook, msn and skype) I really trust that they'd never do anything bad to me, two of them have even met. It seems like most of the people I talk to are girls, maybe it's because I've gone to an all girl's school most of my life but I just feel comfortable that way. I guess you never know though, I sound like I'm doing 'victim blame' but I think I just mean that I've been educated enough about being safe on the net I feel comfortable enough to make my own rules and exceptions whilst still keeping things in mind.
• I think the Strokes may have become my faavourite band. I was listening to them yesterday afternoon-night, and I just really love their songs. Automatic Stop is so amazing I reckon. Animal Collective and Mew are still my very favourite bands but I've never felt so happy and connected to a bands music, like I did with the Strokes. Whats another thought... I LOVE MICHAEL CERA! lolololol
• Have any of you bought stuff from Amazon.com I trust the site I spose, but I just bought Waking Life from it. I was wondering if any of you have had good experience with amazon or theres better places to shop..? Thought: Umm, I should get as much sleep as I can tonight. I've got to get up at 4am for work experience again tomorrow. What boring thought. My thoughts are really boring right now. I think I might do some water colour..
• first off, I love your thoguhts on the Strokes. They will always hold a special place with me because of that connection, though as I h ave gotten older I've lost it with the lyrics but their first two albums especially are just music that resonates with my soul and seem incredibly important to my being. As for Amazon, I buy from it often. Often I try and order from amazon directly instead of one of the (sometimes) cheaper other party sellers that are options but either way my stuff has always come and in good condition. For records I try and buy from the record stores/distrubutors themselves (like polyvinyl, insound, rough trade) because it does tend to be cheaper but DVDs I think Amazon is just as good as Best Buy or wherever.
• I've ordered plenty from amazon. Even if you order from the third-party sellers or whatever, I think amazon like guarantees the order to be safe or your money back. Don't quote me on that but I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Also I love the strokes! They used to be pretty much my favorite band. I haven't listened to them in a while, but they pretty much bridged the gap from listening to lots of garbage into awesome music.
• I buy AND sell on amazon but also am equally happy with half.,com: and happier with their prices. Always compare!
• Cool, thanks guys. I bought the Waking Life dvd there the other day. Due sept/oct. Omg, so far away. I love that movie anyway, can't wait.
• I won a soccer tournament this weekend! I kind of want to post the picture of my team holding the trophy and what not but I'm too lazy right now so maybe I'll do that later. Next weekend we have to go to orlando to play in a qualifier tournament for Disney cup, which is one of the biggest youth tournaments in the country. O.O Eh just thought I'd share some of my personal life.
• Deadfly, that's so exciting! I'm proud of you!
• thanks! And I will once again break the rules and go off topic in order to wish you a happy birthday on two different threads! Happy birthday!
• .. OMFG! Its a double rainbow!!!! weeps and weeps!! ..
• wow! I assume you took that photo by your home? That is pretty special, you know.
• ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE SKY
• that photo is beautiful and you made me laugh, really laugh.
• yay! I was in the car on the way to my uncles place. Quite some way from my home actually. AND you know what! I swear I saw partically tripple rainbow. I'm not even bullshitting! There was like double purple around the bottem and it was really vibrant. I unfortunately didn't get that picture snapped up.
• That would have been amazing. Alas, we can't have everything. A double rainbow is top tier in my books.
• I have a picture on my phone of a double rainbow that I saw in prince Edward island. It was pretty ballin won't lie about that. I'll upload when I get around to it!
• Double rainbows are pretty normal to me. I see them very often. I spose the first time I saw one was when I was little and you don't feel that intensity in emotion so I never felt so amazed by them I spose. I could never know such a feeling towards this particular thing I reckon cause I'm so use to them.. Also.. Wtf is Danny Perez doing?
• Danny is an odd, odd man. Perhaps he is pretending to be modest and covering his boobie-bits.
