• I don't like it. <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/sad.gif" alt=":(" title="sad" /><!-- s:( -->
• I didn't finish watching it but I feel the same way about it that I do about most of their videos. It was bizarre, almost upsetting for my eyes but strangely beautiful too...hm...I liked it more than summertime clothes anyways.
• To be honest, I really don't like most of their videos. However, I liked this one. Well, I like parts of it. It's better than most of the videos they've done.

• I liked it: I thought the imagery, once again, had nothing to do with the lyrics, but the feeling was very evocative.
• I think that their videos match up with the sound of the entire song, not necessarily the lyrics.
• I wish they had chosen to follow the lyrics with this song because the lyrics are beautiful. what a great and sweet story it would create.
• It's haunting... But I feel like they could've gone a completely different direction and it would've been better. Like we tigers said, it would make a beautiful story. Maybe more simple and classic instead of...outer space.
•
I wish they had chosen to follow the lyrics with this song because the lyrics are beautiful. what a great and sweet story it would create.
"We're not sweet! We're ugly and horrific and nasty and vampirical and attack of the marshmallows kill and eat the children!! BOO!! We're NOT sweet!!"
•
I wish they had chosen to follow the lyrics with this song because the lyrics are beautiful. what a great and sweet story it would create.
That's my only problem with it. If they had done something that dealt with the lyrics I think it could have been amazing.
• it makes me wonder...I mean that must've crossed their minds at least once? But they seem not to want to do things that are expected. and I think Bluish could've easily become a mega-single in the indie world if it had that kind of video to go with it. Maybe they don't want that? Or maybe i'm looking into it to much.
• this video is way cool, i like it a lot. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/lol.gif" alt=":D" title="lol" /><!-- s:D -->
• I JUST watched this when i found this topic. I totally have mixed feelings towards this video that leave me stunned.. i like that feeling though. All i know is that tonight i'll be looking at the stars a bit differently.
• this one of my least favorite animal collective songs. parts of the video were strange and felt out of place. i didn't like this at all, i like when their videos are really crazy and make little sense; like brothersport.

Same with Who Could Win a Rabbit. But when the video makes no sense in the realm of it's own existence...that's when it gets uncomfortable. Like some parts of ODDSAC!
• well thats what i was talking about "in terms of the song" the video is about little kids running around and playing and then strange psychedelic creatures come out of their paint. no sense. I mean i understand all the imagery dealing with childhood and what not but that is all interpretation. i kind've hate MPP but that is just me. songs like Guys Eyes and Bluish were realy low points and while In The Flowers is a really cool song i thought the video was absolute shit. I just don't agree with the songs they choose for their videos, i mean Bluish over Lion In A Coma? I hope their next album follows in the direction of ODDSAC, some of their most uncomfortable stuff is my favorite.
• What parts of bluish did you think didn't really belong? I thought it made good sense together.
• blusih is a brilliantly constructed song it really sort of goes well with everything also i love this song because its me and my girlfriends song ohhhh man how i love her !!

Now that its over, i really have lost taste for this song. I just can't seem to like it anymore. I'm not sad about anything, i just lost taste for it. So be careful about that, i wouldn't commit a song you like to anyone but yourself if you dont plan on disliking it.
• yeah ive got a personal connection to bluish too. its a great song. also i wouldn't want another oddsac in normal album format, its far too disjointed to not be a visual album
