My outfit was covered in stars. Oh and I marched in a parade. And did a lot of kitchen dancing. And got my arm repeatedly cut off by a 4 year old pirate.
• that is awesome wini! I worked, and then took my son out for some trick or treating at friends houses and then went to the local church for a hayride and games (that resulted in lots of candy!) p.s. he was a bumble bee
• I was part of a 4 person team zissou (as in the life aquatic, as in what my seahorse avatar is from) with some friends! us at school (me on the left)! I went trick or treating with one (not pictured) and we kept asking people if they recognized us and no one did <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/sad.gif" alt=":(" title="sad" /><!-- s:( --> still best costumes ever
• i wore devil horns and denied that i had them on or was in any way wearing a costume.
• I wore a cloak and a carried a staff and went as a hermit. My friend had a really cool Frank the Bunny (Donnie Darko) mask that he made himself. Only two people got the reference!
• I didn't do anything this past year. I usually just stay at home and pass out candy. I live in the country, So I never get many trick or treaters. I only had one this year.
• he probably got a LOT of candy! like a full bag!
• The party to which I am going has a theme of a Hollywood Zombie Apocalypse. I am no longer charmed by zombies. I can't think of any costume pieces I have that would be suitable for an easily identifiable movie star. Any ideas?
• Can't figure out how to post pictures straight from my computer here, ughh. But I dressed up as a zombie last year, and walked around town with a group of zombies. Took some decent pictures. ^^
• Something, you have to upload them to a website like flickr, and then post. It's a pain but I would love to see your zombie photos!
•
Can't figure out how to post pictures straight from my computer here, ughh.
Yeah, wats up with that? I feel like you used to be able to direct upload. Oh whell.
• It's manageable, maybe I'll post some over the weekend! There's also a very drastic change in my costume from last year and the costume I've made for my friend and I this year- which is, to be honest, a 'Hello! My name is' name tag with Thing 1 written on it for me, and Thing 2 written on it for my friend. (x

I feel very accomplished for figuring out how to upload these. <!-- s:)) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smile.gif" alt=":))" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:)) -->
• Oh my god, you are so cute!!! Sorry, I mean...scary, intimidating and undead.
• Why thank you! You make quite a snazzy Horsehead Nebula yourself!
• OK what did everybody dress up as? Or are many of you at the age where you have stopped dressing up? If so, then what the hell is wrong with me? I'm a mutant! I went as an angel, of sorts, to the party, and today at work I am a pink fairy ohmygodIhavetotakeaphoto...
• Oh man i wish we had Halloween in Denmark! We have something a bit Like it Called fastelavn in february but people think youre a weirdo if you still dress up when youre my age which is just to bad.
• I've got night class tonight <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/sad.gif" alt=":(" title="sad" /><!-- s:( --> But I have a gorilla costume, so no worries.
• G.O. has a monkey costume! Penny, is that the same as Fasching? We used to dress up for that (my family is German). I was a fairy at work. That's my office. I forgot a wand so I used a ruler.
• i wanna see G.O. in his monkey costume !
Penny, is that the same as Fasching?
yes it is i read a text about it today in my German class it's pretty much the same thing
• Since I am handing out candy this year I wanted to be something kids would know of or at least relate to, and I deciding to be Inspector Clouseau or Sherlock Holmes but I don't have the right hat (I lost it), so I am just going to be in a brown trench coat. By the way the last time I trick or treated was when I was 13 years old. I need to plan this out better! <!-- s>__< --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/mad.gif" alt=">__<" title="mad" /><!-- s>__< -->
• Also how big of deal is Halloween for your household, neighborhood, street, or city/state. Where I am situated my house averages 150+ kids on weekdays and 180+ on weekends. This is most likely from my Mom's birthday is today so we have everything all set up; lights, lots of candy, lawn ornaments, and even a cool ass fog machine to get the kids a coming!
• That's fantastic, Peacefish! A fog machine! I live in a rural, Baptist area. We have "trunk or treat" in fire department parking lots, and then traditional trick or treating in neighborhoods...but there are very few of those. Where I grew up, in the suburbs, it was candy Mecca, tromp til you drop. I HATED CHARLESTON CHEWS.
• but they gloved yous! always fun when people on here post actual pictures of themselves but even more fun when it is this thread! ... both winHe and Somethin' looking great! and fun to still see the one of Shinsy on the same page! i hope to get a pic of me as THE MONKEY but i promise nothing! <!-- s>__< --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/mad.gif" alt=">__<" title="mad" /><!-- s>__< -->
• I got a picture of me wearing a trench coat and a bucket hat. I look like a happy mobster with a funny hat.
• Last night, I helped my best friend decorate her house before about 10-15 other people joined us! Our plan was to watch a horror movie, but since I only hang out with the coolest people around (*cough cough*), we watched animated Disney movies instead. I'm not even kidding. Once that was done, we sent the friends that dressed up on a trick or treating assignment, got some candy, then walked around looking like suspicious teenagers for the rest of the night. It was a great time. G.O., thank you! Wini and the Fish both look great. (:
• Nice to see your face, Mister Fish! Your hat matches the walls! My Mom commented on the plethora of "older kids" trick or treating this year. Me, I love the suspicious teenagers. I drank beer and made pumpkin-sausage soup.
• I was feminist Dracula this year, because last week I was in this waiting room waiting for my mom and this weird lady came in and starting talking to the receptionist. She asked her what her kids were going to be for Halloween and she said her oldest daughter wants to be Dracula and they were both like OMG THAT'S SO WEIRD and then she said her younger daughter was gonna be Tinkerbell and they were like THAT'S MORE LIKE IT. and the whole time I was just sitting there thinking ???????????????????. I wore a cape and fangs and makeup, and wrote some stuff about gender and vampire/human equality on a shirt, and carried around a sign that said "Bella Swan: a bad role model for young women, Edward Cullen: a bad role model for young vampires". Forgot to take pictures. <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/sad.gif" alt=":(" title="sad" /><!-- s:( -->
• two years from the beginning of this thread...and no one can see the older photos Here I am dressed as The Fall of Mankind
• i was at that library!
• Scariest costume I've heard so far.
• Wini I'm assuming you made that costume, stellar stuff! I was Alex from A Clockwork Orange..overalls, top hat, even the eyelash
• I dressed up as an African American and ran through the local retirement home. IT WAS SO SPOOOOKKKYY!
• Stayed in my dorm and watched house of 1000 corpses, scarred for life now.
• I walked to a midnight meeting and helped pick a drunk girl up off of burnside (major street in portland).
•
I dressed up as an African American and ran through the local retirement home. IT WAS SO SPOOOOKKKYY!
whut
