• I am listening to a lot of the live AC stuff Also I try to keep up to date with whats going on (using review sites mostly ) and recently have found High Places, Vampire Weekend, Fleet Foxes, and Hercules & Love Affair. Today I listened to the Field's From Here We Go Sublime, Blitzen Trapper's Wild Mountain Nation, Bon Iver's For Emma, Forever Ago and AC's Spirit.

• last 10 or so in the last few days uh! Eels - SoulJacker/JACKET (not as rocking as i remembered) Coldplay - A Rush of gBLOOD 2 ze HEAD!~ (pretty sweet but nothing on the debut) The Flaming Lips - Zaireeka! (mixdown haha ... never heard the REAL experience) Bjork - Medulla (good enough but i'm thinking with one before and after she kinda lost it?) Pavement - Wowee Zowee (still haven't heard the 2-disk affair re-issue! my fave by them) Bright Eyes - Digital Ash in a Digital bURN (way under grated! slamming beats!) also PARENTHETICAL GIRLS (was way behind on this leaking... it was nice enough but just not the direction i wanted them to go in... last song reminds me of edward scissorhands tho!) DJ SCOTCH EGG - Drumized (not much to it but fun enough i guess i like the tarks more where he screams [?] and where's it's more bonkers) TRAIL OF DEAD's new EP (just fantastik! the album will rule! worlds APART level rule!) a crapload of WHY? stuff... had only heard elephant but after finally hearing that aloe vera peachya album i just went nuts with hollows EP / oakland debut LP / hymie's basement projekt with fog dude from MN / some almost live thing still have the other one of those and a few EPs but having trouble tracking them down and well i've said too much!

Problem is since i got my new comp. I cant find my back-up CDs of their older stuff. Gonna have to DL em again : /
• I'm not a big fan of that particular album :] it's okay, but it doesn't get to me as their others have like The Folded Palm and The Golden River, both of which I have the re-releases of. Today I was listening to this (2 times): [img2]http://img78.imageshack.us/img78/9483/frontzu6.jpg[/img2] Also, been listening to Weathertunes a lot recently. At first I didn't really like them very much, but now I can't stop listening to them

• Girls Aloud - Chemistry first i heard their last 2 ... then their first 2... now this middle one! damn these girls! also: Momus - Joemus! (really strange album from 2008... i think people would dig this... can't believe i hadn't heard of the guy until now... this is the 2nd album i heard by him... it's even better than his 2006 one! i think he has 19 and ones going back to the 80s maybe i'll just work my way back til it no longer seems good! or maybe it'll be good all the way back who knows!) The Aliens - Luna (another 08 album i missed... their first one was pretty good but ultra repetitive ... this one has a sort of unpredictable nature... it's not SUPER poppy but it's pretty trippy / druggy / syko dalek at times and i don't know i just damn dug it! ... glad i didn't totally miss out on it...) Burial - Untrue (i had never heard this and finally gave in... it was ok... not much too it and damn it'd just repeat certain stuff over and over again... i mean so does stuff like MPP but not like THIS! ... yeah it was just alright... hearing people saying this was better than mpp and some even saying better than Kid A... makes me worry about this world we live in ... it makes me sick! i don't wanna live in THAT world!)

• right now.....The Brian Jonestown Massacre. before that was The Dodos the cd in my car is Ragged Wood by Fleet Foxes ....hurrumph!
• Okkervil River -Don't Fall In Love With Everyone You See Sergio Mendes and Brasil '66- Look Around Ray Charles- Genius & Soul: The 50th Anniversary Collection Disc 1 The Beatles- The Beatles (Side A) Os Mutantes- Haih Or Amortecedor
• Why?, Matt and Kim, Sigur Ros, Mother Mother, and strangely enough-various movie soundtracks.
• Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Mindless Self Indulgence, and the new Depeche Mode ain't half bad.
• ha? ... those stick out so much from AC... how the HELL did you get into ac! ... the new depeche mode kinda disappointed me... i really liked playing ze angle and the single wrong ... but i don't know... and MSI used to be so much more fun (and it wasn't just because it was 10 years ago and i was 14 or so) i recently heard Suede - Singles compilation after having only heard their first album and then a live album of a fun japanese tronik punk band called Mad Capsule Markets!
• believe it or not i saw the My Girls video on MTV (Canadian MTV = better than American MTV) and yes I'm an MPP kid.... don't sass me. I really don't know how I got into AC. Something just clicked. It was like the first time I watched a good horror movie --- not predictable, completely original and left me wanting that feeling I get in the pit of my soul over and over again.
• The Unicorns - Who will cut our hair when we're gone? (album) Kid Cudi - The Man on The Moon (album) Pogo - Bangarang (song) AC - Fall be Kind Modest Mouse - Lonesome Crowded West
• BANGARANG!!! bobo / bogo ??? i finally checked out that damn Rainwater Cassette Exchange EP by The Deer Hunter (i wonder what they think of the movie of the same or similar name!) it was good! i didn't expect that... in some ways i think i like their EPs more than the albums? this one and FlourGRAY just short and punchy! take those and the better half of Crypto Gramz and man you'd have ALMOST a solid album by that damn bland band! don't even get me started on atlas sound! i won't even bother with lotus plaza!
•
Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Mindless Self Indulgence, and the new Depeche Mode ain't half bad.
excellent, NIN and MSI. -Mew -Them Crooked Vultures -Yeasayer -Grizzly Bear
• I'm listening to some MGMT, Kid Cudi, Wale, Lupe Fiasco. still gotta bump the pink floyd and the who of course. some wilco, grizzly bear, and Kanye West. I hadn't heard AC til recently and now I just can't get enough.
• good choices on mew and esp. new Yeasayer! oh man i love the new yeah slayer oh man... so we have 3 people on here that like MSI that's just ... really weird and kind of amusing..
• hehe, i'm really into mew these days! i wonder why i didn't pay it attention before....foals, fleet foxes, my morning jacket... passion pit....and what do you have against MSI? i think they're kinda funny, i don't know, makes me laugh!
• i love mew right now, just saw them live last week! so awesome. and msi is awesome, and vulgar and loud. i love them. the new yeasayer is fucked up. but i like it.
• Just recently started getting into Ratatat, that ish is golden. Check out Loud Pipes or Nostrand if you're interested, all instrumental, but it's not as boring as one would presume. ^^ The Unicorns. Emasculate The Masculine is my jammmm.
• in 2014 the uni corns WILL return ratatat is fun in small doses but eventually i crave a bit more i like msi too but more so before they returned in 2005 after like... a 6 year gap between albums (though they had that weird short live one and the left rights side projekt THING!) but man they were just a different (but still pretty good!) beast compared to the crazy early stuff... they got longer songs more simple less weird all over the place which i liked about them dammit and that last one (IF) went even farther away from what i liked about them i mean part of it is just getting older yeah... everyone should see the video for Ambling Alp by Yeasayer oh man!
• <3yeasayer. something about there music...everytime it's on I turn to everyone in the room and say "ARE YOU HEARING THIS RIGHT NOW!?"
• yeasayer is awesome! as well as ratatat!!! riceboy sleeps has been the soundtrack for the day! hehe
• APPARNENTLY i must download ratatat!
• don't do it! (i've been rapping for about uh... 17 years now!) my fave part of the new yeasayer album is on rambling ralp when he does that high disco / elmo voice and sings LIES! IN YR EYES!
• haha, you should do it!!!! that part is really pumped!!! it makes me wanna jump!
• i will do it regardless, but consider your quick opinion! haha. i LOVE that song. The whole album seems so surreal to me. So much diversity in each song. When I show it to people they are constantly asking..."Who is this now?" SAME FREEKIN' BAND GUYS!
• i wish more bands had such inventiveness / variety / upbeat jubilation in their music i always find myself wanting bands i like to go more poppy catchy but without losing experimentalism... damn i must go see yeasayer in april ... the only time i saw them was Feb 08 and it was them opening for MGMT and it only cost 8 bucks (which... is just insane)
