Thanks for the support Dave! I just tell myself that if I listen to it now I won't get the clear vinyl (karma?) plus I just bought some really great albums to soak in (Microcastle by Deerhunter and The Flying Cup Club by Beirut) and those are very enjoyable to soak in.

UGH!!! I was working on a list of all the stuff that's happened in 2010 into 2011. when i went to post it it made me log back in and didn't post it. i went back to see if it would still have it on the previous page where i typed it. no dice. that's the 2nd time it's happened to me. i'm not gonna type all that shit again because i'll have to look up all the dates again and that took alot of digging through articles etc..

That guest DJ set was tops.

I listened to all of Tomboy after denying myself the pleasure for a few days (totally caved on waiting for the vinyl) and think Sonic Boom did an outstanding job with the mixing. Some songs (like "You Can Count On Me") sound completely different, and definitely feel fuller and more refined.

In the Pitchfork interview with Noah, he talks about how AC have been putting together a live set for their 2011 tour since January. I absolutely cannot wait to hear it; I'm making the drive from Tampa, FL to Chicago, IL for the July 15th show and have my fingers crossed for a Fireworks/Essplode/Who Could Win A Rabbit set (although I'm not quite holding my breath).

Anybody else have a lapse in self-control and give this baby a listen yet?

There is a higher quality MP3 version floating around now that sounds heaps better then the stream.

Yea I found these to by downloading stuff through torrents and finding links to the sight in the containing folders. I got the ODDSAC album from mikkisays some time ago. There's one called itleaked.com that a buddy uses too but you gotta sign up to use it. I'm not about all that. I prefer anonyminity. I'm sure there are others but those are the two I check often.

I downloaded the leak and listened to it again.
I really love it...cannot freaking wait to get the physical copy.
I only ordered the CD, but now I wish I ordered the vinyl as well... I've been collecting vinyl records lately, and Tomboy would be a great addition.

I'm getting mine on Monday! I think the Surfer's Hymn single is coming in soon too.
