    I know what to say: maybe it's not such a great idea to quote the guy with a swastika on his forehead. Lol. Tigers, I'm impressed. I listened to it the moment I found out it was available. You've made an investment now -- don't give in to temptation! The experience will be all the better for having waited to do it the way you really want to.

    Thanks for the support Dave! I just tell myself that if I listen to it now I won't get the clear vinyl (karma?) plus I just bought some really great albums to soak in (Microcastle by Deerhunter and The Flying Cup Club by Beirut) and those are very enjoyable to soak in.

    That guest DJ set was tops. I listened to all of Tomboy after denying myself the pleasure for a few days (totally caved on waiting for the vinyl) and think Sonic Boom did an outstanding job with the mixing. Some songs (like "You Can Count On Me") sound completely different, and definitely feel fuller and more refined. In the Pitchfork interview with Noah, he talks about how AC have been putting together a live set for their 2011 tour since January. I absolutely cannot wait to hear it; I'm making the drive from Tampa, FL to Chicago, IL for the July 15th show and have my fingers crossed for a Fireworks/Essplode/Who Could Win A Rabbit set (although I'm not quite holding my breath). Anybody else have a lapse in self-control and give this baby a listen yet?

    Stupid question: if I pre-ordered it, from whom did I do so? Because I do not remember. Oh, that's right, I was waiting to buy it at our record store on Record Store Day. I listened to the stream and found it intoxicating. The first few songs segue better than anything I've heard outside Sunset Rubdown in recent years.

    Never mind what I said before. Got the email from Insound. Cannot wait to get the CD in my hands. I streamed the album once, and I really enjoyed it, but I think it deserves a more careful listen with some headphones.

    There is a higher quality MP3 version floating around now that sounds heaps better then the stream.

    Yea I found these to by downloading stuff through torrents and finding links to the sight in the containing folders. I got the ODDSAC album <!-- s:xD: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/xD.gif" alt=":xD:" title="xD" /><!-- s:xD: --> from mikkisays some time ago. There's one called itleaked.com that a buddy uses too but you gotta sign up to use it. I'm not about all that. I prefer anonyminity. I'm sure there are others but those are the two I check often.

    I've been on a trip in Mexico all week so this is my reactions Wow!!!! Even the tracks I was meh about sound very fleshed out. Sonic's mixing is top notch and really brings out the best in these tracks. And the old songs that were singles sound like old familiar friends with some new tricks. It's really dense and I'm really happy with the final product, I like how this feels like a very cohesive album and a very fleshed out pop production. probs an 8.5 from me did you guys read the hipster runoff tomboy post. found it hilarious even if i thought differently and i consider HR a satire anyway. is it ALT to rave about tomboy? Will P-fork "pan the eff out of Tomboy" like they did with the king of limbs?

    I bet Pitchfork will give Tomboy the "Best New Music" label, which will be well deserved. I downloaded the leak and listened to it again. I really love it...cannot freaking wait to get the physical copy. I only ordered the CD, but now I wish I ordered the vinyl as well... I've been collecting vinyl records lately, and Tomboy would be a great addition.
