• I think of Buddhist monks, the Himalayas, and psychedelic experiences. I love that song.
• Great thread and one of my all-time favorite AC tracks! I think about my father and how disassociated I've become from my family over the years, and I wonder how they feel about that. I wonder how I feel about it as well, and this song serves as a reminder to show appreciation for them and their actions regardless of how much is on my plate. Throughout my contemplations I typically imagine a cabin-like setting, or something candle lit, dark, and woodsy. Swirling colors of yellow and orange penetrate the darkness, and in the end there's a bright, beautiful green complementing the atmosphere. I think the green is derivative of the fantastic harmonizing and what it means to me musically rather than metaphorically. I really, really love this track.
• I just visualize a massive collage of colors when I hear this track.
• i think of conan o'brien
•
"]i think of conan o'brien
rofl
• Morgan Freeman scuba diving and serenading his sweet loved one. That's what I think of.
• being underwater during a heavy rain and watching the rain drops hit the surface of the water streams of light and color dripping down a black canvass
•
"]i think of conan o'brien
Hahaha
•

"]i think of conan o'brien
Hahaha
I think of whatever late night show they did the song on because it was such a random choice! Its so weird! Its like they chose the weirdest song off the album to play live! It makes me think of someone deep underwater like in a deep dark trench.
• I saw 'em do Summertime Clothes on Letterman the night it was broadcast. It was AWESOME! I usually don't watch late night shows, either, so it was like a super-special treat. I got chills and a big grin, sitting in the dark on my couch. That sounds a little creepy. xD
• haha! I saw that performance too! I never watch Late Night shows but I always end up watching the performances the day after (most of the time via pitchfork). I love actually catching the performances at night too, though! It does feel really special; it almost feels like cheating the other way. But anyways, I feel the same about the Summertime Clothes perfomance as I do towards the #1 performance because even though its a fairly accessible song those dancers are kinda weird!
• Lol, the dancers were nuts. It was so unusually trippy for broadcast TV. Loved it. Edit: And Letterman making the joke about being able to find MPP in the wallpaper dept. What a trickster! But could you imagine how wild it would be having the MPP pattern for wallpaper? I'd get motion sick.

• i didn't like the live dancers it seemed really cheesy tv on the radio did that the other night too on letterman i don't know what bands are thinking sometimes! they did #1 because supposedly of the time limits... but why not do winter wonderland? that would have been SO fun! but it was amusing them doing that song... if anything for that picture of woman vocalizing / man speaking backwards
• found it! haha! so great!
• i like pandas vocals better in the live version, but avey's more in the studio version
• I think of red lights (literally, not traffic ones) going off in a row in time with the main sample and some candles and maybe ghosts floating towards me sometimes. I love it.
•
"]i think of conan o'brien
You too, eh?
• he has such a big head!

" which makes me think of a newborn hearing his father's thunderous voice for the first time. Yet the sound of the song reminds me of space travel or something. It's quite a unique song.
• It reminds me of being lost in an almost kind of limitless cyberworld.. an amazing song I got high with my friend once and I had him listen to it and he couldn't even handle it haha
