References to religion in AnCo's music

Anyone know of any references to religion in their music? I can only think of like one, In peacebone "When I feel like I am stealing I can keep myself from hearing god" Anyone know any others? I was interested because I recently saw all the references in Johnny Cash's " The Man Comes Around" which is pretty much all references and lines from the bible.

So much of Animal Collective's lyrics can be interpreted in different ways, which is partly their intention. If you're looking for God in Animal Collective, you'll find it, but the same could be said about no god.

people refer to God even if they are not religious. I agree Claud. I have yet to find one of their songs about God. What about drug references? Those are even hard to find in their music. Lion in a comma? On a highway? WWIWS? GRASS? what else?

i think one of the things they try to do (and do very successfully) is leave it pretty open to interpretation.

for instance, it's possible that in "on a highway", the line "i let some hash relax me" really refers to corned beef hash.

My personal favorite rappers are curren$y, madlib, odd future, and Juicy J. I'm alright with Kanye though. When he says "I'm just saying, "hey mona Lisa, come home you know you can't roll without cesar"" is pretty stupid, right up there with weeezzzzzyyyyyyyyy!
