• i have butter and mustard in the fridge. thinkin about making me some buttard.
• Ahh, here's the origin of buttard! I had catfish and hush puppies and sweet tea.
• I love hush puppies! and the stuffed shells were great. I also ate a spoonful of chocolate frosting.
• what are hush puppies exactly? i've heard of them but cannot remember. I had salad rolls tonight, and some skim milk:D huzzah for grocery shopping!
• hush puppies are cornmeal, flour, onions, salt and leavening and are fried. They are tasty little buggers. Thanks to Shinsy I now want to eat a funnel cake,
• I am eating some chocolate. But when you say Hush Puppies, my Canadian mind thinks Slush Puppies. "mm, Slurpee's."
• Haha, I've actually only had one funnel cake in my life, but it was delicious. We went up to the booth and there was an extensive list of toppings, and it said we could get everything on it for the same price. When we ordered it and said we wanted everything on it they looked at us weird so I just said "uhh...without cherries." I haven't had a slush puppy in forever!
• SLUSH PUPPIES! BLUE RASPBERRY WITH EXTRA SHOCKER! Sometimes they call funnel cakes "elephant ears". I had them at one of the Disney World waterparks once. It was just delicious and deep fried and covered in icing sugar and chocolate sauce with ice cream on top. (it's not surprising i was a little overweight that year...)
• wow...what funnel cake stories! never heard them called 'elephant ears' before. Nor did I know there were tons of toppings!!! I've only had them at the local fair with powdered sugar.....
• I like slush puppies. Back in my day, when you had to walk to school uphill in the snow, barefoot, our choices were cola, something red, and something green, if you were lucky. Now they've got BLUE flavor. I didn't eat a lot of Slush Puppies but it's imbedded in my memory. I liked Otter Pops. Green Ones.
• Blue flavor is the best! I haven't had an otter pop in longer than forever. In middle school we had this PE teacher named Mr. Starkins who used to sell them to kids and called them Starky pops. He was creepy.
• I used to get them in the summer all the time at the outdoor water park when I was a tyke. Mm, blue raspberry.
•
In middle school we had this PE teacher named Mr. Starkins who used to sell them to kids and called them Starky pops. He was creepy.
that made me cringe, that is really creepy. blue is normally my favorite flavor of anything.
•
blue is normally my favorite flavor of anything.
DAMN STRAIGHT.
•

In middle school we had this PE teacher named Mr. Starkins who used to sell them to kids and called them Starky pops. He was creepy.
that made me cringe, that is really creepy.
Well it wasn't really that bad. He sold them to us after we ran the mile, everyone wanted something cold and it was pretty nice of him. I think it's just his name that's creepy.
• aw, that isn't creepy. What a nice reward! I just pictured him doing it after school in the alley behind it or something.
• http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1419/123 ... c1953d.jpg I want Red Bean Cake and thats all! I love it. nom nom nom
• That reminds me of mochi ice cream, which would be soooooo good right now. All I have is kettle corn and I think it's making me sick.
• I ate some turkish figs today and they are some of the most delicious things i've ever tasted. I mean. I had no idea how much fig newton's ruined the complex flavors of a fig.
• I want Thanksgiving food for dinner...turkey, mashed potatoes + gravy, and cranberry sauce for dinner, but with some weird-ass dessert combination like cinnamon buns with sherbet. I also remember these epic sushi rolls I had when I visited my sister. I wish I could have those right now and eat them with something random like apple cider and croissants. Or just a whole can of Reddi Whip, nothing else. mmmm
• That sounds delicious!
• that makes me think, Dusty, i've been eating lots of sushi lately with ginger beer. A similar combo. That does sound delicious and exciting, your meals that is!
• I have a fig tree in my yard, Tiggles, but it isn't turkish, it's just georgian. Brown turkey, I think. Your delight at eating figs made me think of the first time I ate dates, sliced open, with cream cheese in the middle. Oh WOWWWW amazingly delicious. Especially a little warm from your backpack after a hike through the woods and with some nice cold well water (or branch water, as they call it here).
• ^^ that sounds yummy. I never had dates with cream cheese. I love figs though. I love eating exotic fruits like that.
• that's fantastic, wini. Someday i'll have to eat your fresh figs. Do you ever bake anything with them? I was thinking you could make some great things out of figs. I love dates too! I've never had them with cream cheese before...
• If I had your address I could mail you a jar of figs, carefully packed in bubble wrap. Or you could just come visit in the summer and enjoy the baking sauna of Georgia.
• And to stay on topic: I had a very tasty black bean burrito yesterday that had tomatoes and cheese in it. It was grilled so it was crispy on one side. We got a sabroso guacamole which has the jalapenos and tomatoes and lettuce on the side. Yum. What are the Mexican restaurants like in Australia, what with you being so very far from Mexico?
• I thought I sent you my address, wini?? I can't recieve packages for a while anyways because I have an impending vacation.
• Mexian resturants in Australia.. I know, theres a portugese resturant called Nandos which my sister and brother love going to (we are of portugese desent) and it apparently has really tasty chicken. I don't enjoy alot of foods so I don't really know what to say. I haven't really gone to any Mexian resturants so recently. Sorry, I can't answer the question properly! - I want freshly baked scones with strawberry jam and whipped cream.
• you guys eat strange food. my food sounds lame. I'm eating water crackers. ALSO. just learned today that Poutine is a Canadian thing. Why the hell aren't you americans putting gravy and cheese on your french fries and calling it "POO-TEEN?" ...yeah it's pretty silly.
• yeah, no poutine for us here. Maybe along the border, I dunno. There is a website called, I think, Why You Are Fat and it has a photo of a poutine cake.
• poutine?? I've never even heard of it. It sounds dirty. Gravy and cheese...gross. My favorite kind of fries that you get at a tavern around here have cheese, bacon, sour cream, and ketchup on them...mmmmmm...I want some of those right about now.
• Poutine is just about the most delicious thing you can get at the exhibition. It's french fries with gravy and melted cheese curd, which sounds really disgusting, but trust me, it definitely isn't. It'll stop your heart, but it is so good. I'm eating some strawberry/pineapple/orange sorbet right now, and let me tell you, it is delicious.
• i just had some BOK CHOY and now i'm going to eat some "imagine Whirled Peace" ben and jerry's. (all the good flavors are only in the states:( )
• I think the combination of the two items cancel each other out. So, you just ate nothing. Damnit, now I want ice cream.
• Havin' beef Bulgogi and Shin Ramyun. Got out dem chopsticks. I want to bake some breads soon.
• I ated the ice cream it wuz good and doggy had some tooo but only vanillas. But I want to hear more about what Phantom is/was eating.
• Ch-ch-check it out on wikipedia. Korean food.
• check check check it out.
• w-w-w-w-what's it all about?
• Have any of you ever had Vegemite? The aussie spread. Its really salty but good. Its ilegal in America you know cause theres only one other thing that is that salty and pregnant ladies eat it. I don't know its a wierd reason. You Americans confuse me! hahahaha Yeah I was just wondering that. Once these aussie radio hosts called up an american and said 'I'll sneak you in some vegemite!' 'Whats vegemite' 'Its a spread. I can sneak you some across the boarder' 'Do you have any rainbow? Can I have some rainbow?' - Um, yeah, that was confusing. Is rainbow a drug?
• i'm not sure about the rainbow thing. I guess it could be code? I've heard of vegemite and that it's disgusting, but I had no idea its illegal here. Interesting.
• I prefer Marmite! I eat it when my body tells me to eat it (I am a zombie inside a brain). It isn't illegal and can be found in major grocery stores. It's awesome on hot buttered toast! But not Terror Toast! The only weird salty thing that American pregnant ladies eat is the blood of Australian child, fermented and stuffed into a pig intestine casing. I have heard of many drugs but not rainbow. That just makes me think of skittles. It may be the latest kind of blotter acid but who knows.

• lolololololol. as Grizzles would say.
• O_O I think... I don't know what I think at this point. That was very G.O. of you.
• I gave myself a little Dutch Maid-style Marmite hat.
• UHH OKAY THEN btw just made your collage expect a manila envelope soon.
• you don't like my marmite chapeau
• I personally find it adorable and might be a little jealous.
