I heard My Girls on the radio in Toronto. CFNY (102.1 the Edge) played them on a Thursday, January 22nd. They mentioned their concert in Toronto at the Sound Academy in May, I thought that would be all. Then My Girls was played. I never thought that AC would be played on the radio.

I really do love Merriweather. A lot. This was probably the most anticipated record to me in my life, comes before Againt Me!' New Wave. Though New Wave was a huge disappointment. Old AG! is much much better.

Anyway, Merriweather absolutely blew my mind. I listen to it all the time. Can't wait to see Animal Collective in May!

enjoyed that sound a lot, the new album live recordings sounded beautiful.

oh, and if you haven't heard the polly cover, i recommend ebay for the 7", yall. it's worth the ten bucks i payed, beautiful song.

Definatly excited for this. I was at the first two shows where they plaied these songs, and because of some of the things that were going on in my life at that time, this music has a particularly strong rezzonance with me. I've decided not to download the leak, as I've heard the bootlegs/seen them live, and want the studio versions of these songs to be a total surprise. Plans for my first listen are to go out, buy the album,and then not listen to it until night falls, then I will listen to it in it's entirety, in the dark.
